Why would I take a UR Accelerated course?

Experience something new Take a class that is not currently offered at your high school

Lighten your course load Take a class now, and take one less class while at university- Film 100 can be used to meet core requirements in most programs, and as an elective in most degrees!

Get better grades Experience small class sizes and individual professor attention, while in the comfortable environment of a high school.

Become familiar with university life Accelerated students receive a student ID card for use in the library, athletics and U of R facilities.

Be better prepared for your university studies Accelerated students improve time management skills, writing skills and thinking skills, while also learning what is expected of them as university students.
