Who is a Protege?
A protege is a student entering into their first year of study or returning after a probationary period.
The role of the protege is as follows:
- To engage and/or re-engage with campus and university life.
- To maintain contact with the mentor so that the protege is fully aware of all of the programs and services that are offered by Campion College and the University of Regina; thus ensuring success for the protege.
- To use the mentor as a valuable resource of information to establish a solid foundation at university.
The benefits of becoming a protege are:
- A smooth transition into university life and a connection with the Campion and university communities
- The mentor becomes a friendly face in the crowd, someone to answer all your questions immediately and is a knowledgeable source of information
- The program will help you meet new people and make sure that you stay successful and involved throughout your university career.
