Father Peter Nash, SJ Chair in Religion

When Fr. Peter W. Nash, SJ established Campion College at the University of Regina, he envisioned a Catholic college that would "contribute towards a synthesis of faith and culture and be of real service to the university community." To honour his vision and commitment to Catholic post-secondary education, Campion College has established the Father Peter Nash, SJ Chair in Religion.

The Chair will be held for a six to twelve month term by a visiting scholar who is tied academically to the Jesuit tradition. This scholar will be drawn from a range of fields, such as theology, philosophy, literary studies, film studies, the fine arts and history, with interests that intersect with the issues that are central to Fr. Nash's vision.

For the 2008/2009 academic year, the Father Peter Nash, SJ Chair in Religion will be held by Campion College alumnus, Rev. Don Bolen.
